Fernandina Beach Wedding at Oyster Bay

Sarah and Chris were married at the beautiful Oyster Bay Yacht Club in Fernandina Beach last month. It was a gorgeous day for a wedding with mild temperatures and a beautiful sunset to kick off the reception. We had such a great time at this wedding. The atmosphere was so laid back and everyone was having a blast. We even had an impromptu swimmer at the reception. You know the party is good when someone ends up in the pool.

Chris and Sarah's love story began three years ago while attending a mutual friend's pumpkin carving party. You'll notice Chris' grooms cake at the wedding was a replica of the same pumpkin he made at that party. From that day on these two were hooked on one another. A few years later, while vacationing in Africa, Chris popped the question. Sarah said yes and the wedding planning began. They incorporated pumpkins as well as peacock feathers into their decor and blended it all perfectly to reflect their personal style. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day followed by a slide show. I hope you all enjoy. Chris and Sarah, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your day. We wish you both many years of love and happiness together.

    In love,
    Mel & Brad

These are absolutely amazing! The lighting is just fabulous. I love all the little close-ups and I'm amazed at what a great job you do capturing things from such an interesting perspective (like the photo of the bride's earrings from the back of her neck instead of from the front).

Beautiful work you guys! I have so many favorites but the one where the groom is telling a story and she's sitting on the chair laughing is my all time favorite! You outdid yourselves again...
