New Smyrna Beach Wedding - Jennifer & Chase

Jennifer & Chase's wedding day started out like any other day. Bright, hot, Florida sunshine beating down all day. Well almost all day, right up until 15 minutes before their wedding was scheduled to begin. They had planned for a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Venetian Bay overlooking the lake and courtyards of the Town Center. Unfortunately mother nature had different plans for them. Since they say it is good luck to have rain on your wedding day, Jennifer and Chase are covered in good luck!!! The sky literally opened up that day and dumped buckets of rain down on us. The ceremony was moved to the country club where the reception was being held. Although many of us were drenched, most every single guest showed up and the wedding went off without a hitch. We had to improvise for most of the photos considering we could not go outside at all and had limited space to move around among hundreds of wedding guests. We made it happen though, and the entire wedding party was so wonderful to work with. Jennifer and Chase are so perfectly suited for each other. They remained calm the entire day and I'm pretty sure they could have gotten married in a hurricane and been happy. These two really are one of the sweetest couples you could ever want to meet. Once the reception got rolling, it was hard to stop. There had to be magic dancing pills slipped into the food because these guests were rocking all night long. Here are some of our favorite shots, followed by a slideshow complete with crazy cake faces.

Hey Jess... I love the bridezilla shot too. It was right after everyone arrived at the reception site for the alternate ceremony and Jen said she was keeping her bridezilla side at bay. She was so great at keeping her cool despite the crazy weather.
