    Adam & Julie's Sarasota Wedding

A few weeks ago Brad and I packed up and headed to Sarasota for a wedding. This time though, it wasn't for work. My little brother Adam was getting married. We had so much fun visiting with friends and family we hadn't seen in ages. It was pretty crazy being at a wedding just as a guest and not for work. We did bring our cameras so we could snap some photos for our own family album. Adam & Julie's photographer, Chad Spencer of C/M/S Photography did an awesome job of capturing everything. We promised him he would hardly know we were there and that we wouldn't use our big old flashes to interfere with any of his shots. Pretty much all the photos we took were shot from our seats during the ceremony and at the reception.

Here is a slideshow of the rehearsal dinner as well as the wedding. They were married on the golf course at Laurel Oaks Country Club. During the ceremony there was a group of Sandhill Cranes that decided to take part in the festivities. It was pretty cool seeing such huge birds fly by. The reception followed immediately and we all had a blast! You'll notice most of the reception isn't photographed because we were busy having fun on the dance floor. The end of the night called for some awesome group shots thanks to Tim's extra long arms! ;)

The next day, Brad, Sam and I all went and explored downtown Sarasota and Lido Key. We went swimming, took pictures and the boys did a little dancing with some statues downtown. It was awesome. I love the clear water on the gulf side of FL.

Congrats to Adam and the new wife! That tooth sculpture is maybe on my top 10 of creepy things. It's eerily close to dinosaur bones and we all know how I feel about dinosaur bones...

Dangit Mel... we totally bought that tooth statue for you and were going to have it delivered to TN for your birthday! Its a good thing I saved the reciept... ;)

Sure thing Jess... next time you and Wes tie the knot we will be there and be the sneaky backseat photogs.

David & Kimi... Brad is always good for capturing the obscure goofy face shots. Maybe we should make that our specialty? Hmm... crazy-face-ography... I kinda like the sound of that. Congrats to you guys for winning the McLellan shoot. They are the best... you'll have a blast at your shoot! :D
