    Sheila & Kumar Got Married!

So this is the last post from Sheila & Kumar's wedding over Easter Weekend. The festivities began at the crack of dawn on Sunday with the girls getting ready, followed by the Barat and the wedding ceremony followed by an awesome lunch. The wedding reception was held later that evening and it was absolutely gorgeous!!! I swear I took so many shots of all the details at this wedding because there were so many beautiful things every where I turned. Again this blog post has a bazillion images in it... but I like them all and its hard to choose just a couple. I need to start posting slide shows instead. Yeah... I think I'll start doing that.

I had such a crush on this lady... she had the coolest hair color ever and always wore beautiful white flowers in her ponytail. I was talking to her during the cocktail hour and she told me she was allergic to hair dye so she used henna to color her hair and that is what gives it its vibrant orange color. How fun is that?!

That is about it in a nut shell... a very big nut shell! We had such a good time at this wedding. Shelia & Kumar had one of the best wedding slideshows I have ever seen at their reception. They did a parody of True Hollywood Story about each other and it was hilarious! They interviewed friends and family and even did reenactments of "scandalous situations." They are such a great couple... we wish you both many years of love and happiness together! :D

I've done a little texture-izing myself with a dark band that wanted a different look and I think it works very well at times. I like the one where he is riding the white horse (like prince charming how cute!!) and I like how you didn't have the texture over the skin etc etc but the one with the guy holding the umbrella I didn't like it on the sky, it's likely a personal preference :D

Their cake was BEAUTIFUL!!!! OMG so pretty!!!

I do want to ask you though how do you get your very strong vignettes??? like the photo with the little girl there is such a strong vignette that hides the shadow from the flash which I think it AWESOME!!!

haha... yeah Jess the textures can be a personal preference for sure. I actually really wanted that one in the sky because it was so overcast and bleak looking. There were no real clouds just that big wash of gray so I figured I would try to spice it up a bit. I have noticed a difference from what I am seeing in photoshop to what appears later. It is more pronounced that I would have liked... but eh... it can be tweaked. I'm still pleased with both results. Now I will just go shoot more textures to play with!! :)

The vignetting seems so dark because I burn the crap out of some stuff... thats about it. Nothing fancy really... just burn baby burn.

Thanks Kenzie... it was an incredible wedding to be a part of. I loved how ornate everything was! Made me want henna on my hands and lots of pretty bangles. :D

haha... its okay Corinna... I get to typing super fast sometimes and spell everything crazy myself. I have had to change a few blog posts to fix spelling errors so I totally understand. Thanks for the compliments on our work and appreciating the poop shot! ;) haha... I just couldn't let it slip by. Its not in my nature.
