Recently we had the opportunity to do a super fun modeling shoot with the gorgeous Virginie! She was such a blast to hang out with and only laughed a little when I fell on my butt while climbing around on one of the beach walk overs. I tend to forget how not coordinated I am with a huge camera hanging from my neck and a back pack full of gear on my back. We had so much fun running all over Jax beach... Virginie speaks fluent French and Spanish and can say "ciao" like no one else! I am jealous! ;)






We went to a construction site where they are repairing a bridge... very fun!

Ryleigh is Three Months Old!

I have been slacking big time on updating our blog... so today I am going to make up for it! A couple weeks ago we shot baby Ryleigh's 3 month photos. She has gotten so big and even more beautiful! I love doing baby's first year photos. Its so amazing to document these milestones in a baby's life for the family to enjoy forever. Ryleigh is smiling and holding her head up now... and making all of us swoon with those stunning blue eyes. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot.

Electric Feel

So Brad and I love this song... its pretty addicting and I felt the need to share it with everyone. I also decided it needed to be on our website so it is now the featured song in our portraits gallery. Yeah... its just that good. Crazy little video but the song is oh so gooooood! Enjoy! :)

The big V-day is here!

So what do Brad and I do for Valentines Day... being the big romantics that we are??? Well this year was a first... we opted NOT to do any big romantic gestures. No fancy meals, no candles, no extravagant gifts. Just some good old rest! My only request was that we go out for pizza in San Marco (my absolute favorite pizza in Jacksonville) and then rent a movie. I have been craving this pizza for weeks now and its time to be bad and treat myself to some! Well the night didn't go exactly as planned. "How can you screw up pizza and a movie" you ask?? Well first... Brad did buy me flowers despite our decision not to do that this year.

I was so excited though... I mean how adorable is this tiny little arrangement??? I'm a sucker for things that are cute and little... sort of like Lucy.



What today is all about...



Then... to the pizza. Now I love this pizza place to death and have only ever been to the location in San Marco. We decided to be brave and try the one in Mandarin this time (its all the same local chain so it should taste the same right?). Ooooh not a good decision... it was awful. Sure the place was crowded, filled with people who love pizza that is hard as a rock and burnt on the bottom... but that is not me. I love doughy pizza with lots of cheese and minimal sauce. So I ate one whole slice and called it quits. I couldn't even force it down. Feeling bad about buying an entire pizza we boxed it up to take home. Why??? I have no clue... I guess to throw it away in our trash can instead of theirs... because we certainly aren't going to eat it. Maybe they were just having a bad day at that location. I don't know. What I do know is, I will only eat at the San Marco location from now on just to be sure I get the kind of pizza I adore!

On a happier note... when we got home we found a surprise waiting for us online. After much anticipation, long hours of work, and technical glitches, our new website was officially launched!!!! LaDolceVitaStudio.com is now out there in orbit for your viewing pleasure!!! We ended up oohing and ahhing our new creation and did not get to watch the movie we rented... maybe tonight? What a great end to our funny little Valentine's Day.
